  1. Hi,
    i have a problem making palDVD in tmpeg from DV.
    Looking att the finnished mpeg i got some small lines in every moving part of movie i´ve tried interlace, noninterlace, a-b field the lot but i dont get it to work.
    I have done the same encoding earlier with god result but i dont understand why i now of a sudden get this bad result.

    anyone got a clue?

    It sounds like the wrong field order to me.
    I use Cinema Craft Encoder myself with excellent result ( plus it's fast )

    Have you burned the DVD and watched it on a TV. I get the same effect when viewing in WMP because computers are progressive but once I watch it on a TV it's fine.

    Hi, tried on a DVD-RW and it looks great on the tv.

    Another way you can check is through a software dvd player like Power DVD. But the best way is always a TV.
