I have been Using Adobe Encore DVD to author my DVD's (phenominal DVD authoring software... I highly recomend it!) When I import a vob into my project vs. importing a TMPGenc mpeg2 version of that same vob... the mpeg is much larger and the quality isn't as good? So just to clarify:
I can take a vob and stick it into TMPGEnc and do a straight conversion to DVD Mpeg with the maximum bitrate specified and it turns out much larger than the vob and the quality isn't as good?
Right now you asking yourself, "why would he convert a vob to mpeg? Why not just leave it alone?" Well, there really is no reason, I'm just really curious why if no conversion is neccessary does TMPEnc basically ruin the vob when I converts it to DVD mpeg2?
