Anyone else got this player ?

It won't play back DVDs with a 4:3 AR in 4:3 mode. It just puts out a 16:9 signal to my widescreen TV and I cannot even make the TV go to 4:3 mode. What gives ?

I'm not too bothered about prerecorded DVDs as I only have a couple of 4:3 titles, however, I have a lot of home video which I want to burn to DVD.

Is there any way I can force it ? I've tried authoring DVDs in 4:3 or 16:9 and it ends up with the same result.
