    well, just wanted to check some things out:

    whenever i play any (s)vcd in my dvd player (pioneer xv-dv303) it is always displayed on the hud : PBC play instead of appearing the movie time...like dvd's...

    yet, this will only happen when i insert the cd and push play on the remote....if i push number one, it will then appear the time on the display...

    i was wondering if this is normal or if there is anyway to make the movie time appear all the time....

    btw, when i put chapters in the movie, i can only go through them like a DVD if i press play at the beggining of the movie...if i press number 1, to see the movie time, then i can't travel through the chapters....

    i think this is a normal thing to happen, because its not a dvd, but i just wanted to be sure...

    its normal for the pioneer 3x3 , 4x4 , 5xx as far as ive seen

    im not sure on all models .. but on several pioneers it did the same thing ..

    8) sounds like youa re turning the pbc on or off if its off then you cant use chapters and vice versa.
