  1. Hello

Could somebody help me With a small problem I have

I have been using avi chop and tmpgenc to make my own vcd’s for a while but have come across a new problem.

If I split up some avi files using avi chop v0.2 I loose the sound, this only happens on a few files, but they are the ones I most want.

Ripping the audio out with virtual dub first before encoding with tmpgenc is not an option because it will give me the audio for the first mpeg, but not the second.

Any help with this will be much apreciated

you could try feeding the entire avi to tmpgenc and using the source range filter under Advanced to encode one half then the other.

  6. With thanks, will give it a goas in the previous post above from hitechjunkie, i used virtualdub to extract the audio stream from the avi, then using tmpgenc loaded the avi as video source, wav as audio source and used the source range filter under setings / advances.

with many thanks to hitechjunkie for the info and to sleepy for the nandub hint.
