  1. why does nero 6 when burning a dvd video put vobfile 5 first? nero 5.5 puts the video_ts file first .
    Nero 6's order is
    vts_01_5.vob
    vts_01_4.vob
    vts_01_3.vob
    vts_01_2.vob
    vts_01_1.vob
    vts_01_0.ifo
    vts_01_0.bup
    video_ts.ifo
    video_ts.bup

    Nero 5.5 order is
    video_ts.ifo
    video_ts.bup
    vts_01_0.ifo
    vts_01_1.vob
    vts_01_2.vob
    vts_01_3.vob
    vts_01_4.vob
    vts_01_5.vob
    vts_01_0.bup

any ideas why it does this and which one is better? Nero 6 causes power dvd to get an error.

  2. Where the names in the right order in the project? Maybe you pushed the name bar so they changed order? (Not that I think It should have anything to do with it...)

Tried to search the forum? I think there have been some other threads about this problem.

  4. Thats the way nero organises the files when i drag them in the video ts folder and thats the order smart ripper detects them after the dvd-r has been burnt. Ive tried to search the forum and found nothing, i think i will stay with nero 5.5 i just dont trust nero 6.

  5. I use Nero v6.0.0.11 and all I do is drag the entire folder containing the VOB files and drop it on the VIDEO_TS folder in Nero and its arranges them exactly like they are in the original folder. I've never dragged them individually so maybe that is effecting the order. try dragging the entire folder at once and see what happens.
