    i dl the hacked version of my nec nd1300a firmware (v1.07)...now how do i adjust/accelerate the write speed of my writer using nero 6 ultra?

    You don't have to do anything. When Nero goes to burn the disc the firmware in the drive will access the blank DVD and tell Nero what the max available speed is, then Nero will offer that to you and you can choose whether to go with it or choose a slower speed.
