Just a question for the gurus out there. I'm working on my first DVD. I'm testing it on my Philips DVD711. I was testing the project on + and - RW disks, and they worked OK. I had to add a dummy file to the project to get the disk size over 4 gig for a -R disk to work. Will i have to do the same for a +R? So much to learn. Been reading about all the different +- and R/RW formats, but can't recall seeing anything about this issue. Thx.

I've done DVD+RW/Rs under 500 megs with no problem. Don't know why -R/RWs would be any different.

Chas
