  1. This is a contuation from the General Discussion forum.

I have uploaded several small videos to my website and I would like to view them as one video..

I believe this is called streaming, can anyone give me child like instructions (with examples if possible) on how to do this

(I am a pensioner so any software involved needs to be freeware)

    Thank you..

My page if your interested in seeing what I am trying to do is http://www.tatsy.freehostingcloud.com/videotest.html

The original long version can be viewed but it is very small as I had to shrink it from 300mb to 30mb.

I would post the videos on youtube, then use the code provided on your youtube video page to embed the video in your own page. This has a number of advantages

    1. It overcomes the fact that your host does seem to support streaming (if they do, then all the details you need will be in their on-line help pages)
    2. Higher quality will be possible because you won't have the same size limitations (although you still have youtube's 15 minute running time limit)
    3. You don't need to do any extra coding other than a copy and page from youtube to your page

  3. Sounds like a plan...

I shall give it a go if I can figure out how it's done...

    thanx...

Create an account on youtube. Login, and upload a video. Once it is up and processed, open the video on it's own page. You should see something like the top part of this image

Name:	youtube.PNG
Views:	704
Size:	31.3 KB
ID:	3708
Click on the button marked Embed and the code area will open up. Select the highlighted area, and copy and paste it into the html of your own page.
