  1. I have loaded this file into virtualdub and pieced the other half with it.

Everything was o.k. As i was only trying out the software and how to use it when i came back to load them in i have no audio......

Other files loaded into it will work o.k>

The audio file is AC3 DMV. What is the DMV bit?

    and..........

why under audio does one of my options say.......

Source audio and not avi audio?

    many thanks.....

  2. I'm not sure about the DMV part, but v dub uses source audio because the latest version allows you to load mpegs, VOB files, etc. Source just means it will load whatever audio file your source uses.

  3. right, thats cool.

I have re installed the virtualdub to see if it was something i had changed.........

but still no audio on these two files.

I even deleted my other codex to see if there was conflict.

No chance........ just cannot work it out?

I have the latest v-dub and it won't load vob's, am I missing a codec?

  5. The Virtual Dub I am using is a mod version. You can get it from the tools section. Drummerduck, are you sure you have the AC3 plugin for vdub, or are you also using the latest mod version?
