What movie makes your subwoofer shake the house the most?
All 3 Jurassic Parks come to mind for me. I was outside washing the car the other day and I could hear & feel the T-Rex stomping all the way out there.

Terminator 2. Every impact is accented with a low frequency thud to give you a little physical sensation. It's in all the audio channels too. At least the pro logic channels.
Hope is the trap the world sets for you every night when you go to sleep and the only reason you have to get up in the morning is the hope that this day, things will get better... But they never do, do they?

  6. Once I buy subs (~600watt) for my car I vision myself bringing them into the house once and hooking them up to my tv system. BOOM!

  9. The scene in the Phantom Menace when the attack ship come over the hill for the big battle with those Jar Jar Binks species.

Also I like Top Gun (during the fighter jet battle scenes) and also the Matrix (first one) when he and Trinity go into the building to rescue Morpheus.

  10. Probrably not one you would think of, but the opening scene to Toy Story 2 where Rex is playing the game, sounds great on my system.

Big rumbly spaceships sound great on my PCM laserdisc.
Although the nebuchadnezzar in the matrix is impressive too. I don't have a seperate sub, these guys do all the work for me.

Although as i said, no sub.
Curently plugged in the back of this

but i want to get a 270 and bridge that and the 370 for about 800 watts of power. silly, i know. (and that's 800 real watts. well, rms watts, so about 3.2kw in crappy watts[pmpo])

  14. Almost any action movie at some point or another will have your sub kickin' in seriously...but if you wanna really hear some serious thump...check out the scene in the Matrix where Neo comes through the medal detector and it goes off.....and when the cop sees all the guns...he says "HOLLLY SHHITT"..LMAO...man..that's a bad AZZ scene....

The way the cop says "HOLY SHIT" is a trip....anyway...as Neo and Trinity start tearing it up....there is serious...SERIOUS...SERIOUS SUB ACTION...at ALL LOW FREQUENCIES....because in addition to the fight and the bullets..concrete breaking apart...etc..etc...there is also a bad azz song that plays low in the background of that scene while all the destruction is going on at the same time.. which REALLY makes the SUB KICK! .....THUMPP..WOOF..WOOF...WOOOF!
