  1. I am trying to demux a functional VOB to create a new menu and dvd. When demuxing in ffmpegx my results are numerous files, one of which is a full video m2v but all the other files are m2v fragments and mp2 documents which are useless. I am using the most basic settings. Any ideas. Oh, the original VOB was built using iDVD 2 and I'm running OS 10.2.6.

P.S. Tried this VOB in BBdemux but only end up with a vid file, no audio will extract, though the audio is definitely there.

  2. The Demux tool is only meant for mpeg-1 and mpeg-2 files in .mpg format (system streams). It doesn't support program streams (.vob) or transport streams (.ts). I'll add support for these formats in later versions.

  3. Thanks. Was sceptical this app would work but someone in another forum suggested to try this on a vob file but change the extension to .mpg. I've now run out of apps to try. Back to the drawing board.
