Hello,
Am I right in thinking that, before actually producing a glass master, the machine first scans a DVD-R master for scratches and other problems? If that is the case, one can check and double check the master safe in the knowledge that, if it is compromised in any way, the glass master machine will at least reject it instead of making a defective glass master. Correct?
With reference to parity errors (and other nightmares), if I watch a DVD-R master’s content in its entirety and everything is OK, and all the links and menus work, etc., can I conclude that the master may then be sent to the replicator with confidence?
Thanks,
Tom.
