    ive recentily got a svcd movie with subtitles.
    i want to remove them.
    is there a tool for this?
    or do i just crop them out or blur them?
    i'd just like to know what options i have.

    If the subs aren't selectable (which they most likely aren't) your assumption is correct - crop them out or blur them. This of course requires a reencode, so a general drop in quality is inevitable.
