I am running WinXP, ATI AIW video card, 5.1 channel PCI sound card. I am running the RCA plugs from the VCR to the interface of my AIW card. I have the audio going into the line-in. I see the video, but have no sound. I have line-in checked in my Audio Properties. Any help is greatly appreciated.

Check the bundle of connectors that plugs into the output of your ATI AIW card. There should be a little miniature phono plug, probably black. Make sure this is plugged in to the audio-in jack of your PC sound card.

When WILL they start putting the audio capture on the
same hardware ( clock ) as the video ? Probably prevent 50% of the
A/V sync problems.
