Evaluate dvdr media

I'm trying to evaluated some dvdr samples that my boss got sent from tiawan.
Any advice would be greatfully received. I'm going to test all the disks on dvdplayers with a burned dvd movie and test them on xboxes with a burned game. My main worry is the dvdr-4x and dvd+2.4x don't have a manufacturer id, is this bad?

Personally that would worry me. The first one has a maxell media code. But if you look around you'll see there are a number of disc stealing their code. I'd be wary of them unless they said maxell on them or the package very clearly.

THe others are obviously lowend stuff if there is not even an ID on it anywhere.

For the "MXL" disc, look for a HUB code of IFPI GZ01 it may or may not be there.
