    hi, can i make a backup of a hired dvd movie... ive got the burner and software hopefully do do the job..regards theted.

    "Hired" means rented in the UK. I think the copyright laws in the UK are the same as in the USA and most other places. In other words, NO! You can't copy a hired or rented movie.

    Yes you can copy a hired or rented movie...but you arn't allowed to.
