Not sure if this is the right place to post this but i am wanting to cut out certains parts of a movie when i am copying it. At present i use dvd decryptor to rip the movie then if it is a dual layer i used instant copy to convert it so it will fit on a normal dvd. What i would like to know is if there is anyway to for instance remove previews and other frames from the movie?

DVD Shrink will remove some of the front and back easily.
Sections from the middle are harder. -
You can use ChopperXP to cut scenes from the .vob files.
I haven't tried cutting trailers with it, but I have used it to cut down specific scenes for compilation dvds... should work...- housepig
