  1. I have been trying to burn some vob,ifo and bup files to dvdr with nero 6 with no luck
I have used lots of differnent settings all I have is lots of coasters

    kept getting illegal disk errors

    So I uninstalled nero 6 and re-installed Nero 5.5

    first time I tried SUCCESS

    dvdr works perfectley
so until they sort out nero 6 I am staying with the old version

For the moment I am sticking with v5.5.10.42, flawless.

Any new major revision has bugs (especially if it is Nero, I used to get a distortion in the video with an older version of 5.5)

  5. The ONLY reason to upgrade would be if Nero 5.xx will not recognize a new drive like the Pioneer DVR-A06/106. Nero 6 does recognize this new drive for me.
