Has anyone tried the motion menu feature of TSCV?
I set up the chapter offsets in the menu, went into the motion menu feature, and it appeared to generate the background frames for input to tmpgenc.
However, where the thumbnails should have been, there were only black square. I thought it might be due to hardware acceleration in windows media player, but it didn't help when I turned it off.
Anyone know?

Yes and it works great. I am wanting to know if you would like to go over it together so we can get another person on the road to making great motion menus and motion backgrounds.

Well, on my winnt4 machine, I could at least get to the motion menu editor, but it made black squares where the thumbnail video should be.
Using rel1 and rel2 of the latest version on my WinXP machine, I can't get the button to get to the motion menu editor to be enabled. It says that it the mpeg in the menu screen must be highlighted to enable that button.
I think that WinXP handles windows events differently causing the highlighted mpeg to be unhighlighted when clicking on the stills tab to get to the motion menu button.
Besides, I think I've found a way to do it myself using a program I made, plus TMPGEnc and HyperCam. Crude, but it worked the first time out. Maybe I'll post an example of what I did for the world to see. I also have the option of making an animated background instead of a static background.

p.s. Please show me your method with TSCV so I can see what I was doing wrong.
