Optorite DD0203 and Apex AD-1200? Weird issue here.

Ok Bought the drive for around 165 shipped with black face plate, Good Deal. I'v tested it with every media i had everthing seem to work just fine. But i ran into one problem. I have 2 Apex AD-1200 and a Apex 1100W. I can burn to ANY media so far just fine and play back is perfect in my PS2 Xbox and my 1100w but will not load in my 1200's so i tried different media same issue. I'v upated the firmware (2.17) that wasn't it. I then thought well the 1200's are just junk but i burnt the same image off with my pioneer 104 and the 1200's play just fine, this is on the same media.

I have tried nero 5 and 6, also tried Record now max and server others with 1.02 and 1.05 UDF same issue. I even tested the backups for any errors, came back clean. So why would this happen?

Any suggestions.

Somewhere on this forum I posted a reply concerning the ability of discs made with my Optorite to actually play in a -1200 unit. 'Course now I can't find the posting...

The discs in question were a Memorex DVD+R and Sony DVD-R. But they were authored with DVD-Lab, so I don't know if that may have had something to do with it. I know that some Optorite owners have had nightmares with Nero, though.
