  1. Can anyone point me in the direction of how i can put just my movies onto a DVD. I have seen upto 3 Movies on one disk. I would like to keep my originals in tack. But my daughter lends them out. Putting 3 films on to one disk would save my originals. Thanks in advance

make sure you re-do the math so that you have the right file size for three movies, rather than 4 movies.

  4. Use DVD2SVCD to reduce the size of each movie. Then use DVD-Lab to author your new DVD.

I have had success putting 4 DVD's on one DVD-5. In order to reduce the amount of quality loss converting movies of 7-8 GBs to 1-2GB, I convert first to AVI and then to DVDMPG2. It isn't necessary, but in some instance a comparison showed to favor an AVI conversion first (where AVI ended up being one disc, whereas two disc AVIs did not fair as well as converting straight to a 2GB DVDMPG2.) My suggestion is that if you can convert the DVD9 to a one disc AVI file, then you can convert it to a 1GB DVDMPG2 without great quality loss. This allows you four movies on one DVD. Otherwise, never go below 2GB DVDMPG2. The loss of quality is just too great.

    Try this guide

  5. I can get a lot on one dvd with a dvd recorder using LP mode, & that is 4 hours of time. Makes a menu automatically. You'd have to input from another dvd player if you're using dvds as source.
