  1. If I want to run SDEpatcher separately is the syntax:

    SDEpatch <svcdfile.m2v> NTSC

    ?

Can the target file be a mpeg 2 video stream or does it have to be a muxed audio/video mpeg 2 file?

  2. Couple of more questions regarding sdepatcher..

When running on some m2v files I got the message:

    Code:
    Badgerware SDE Patcher (SVCD) v1.0
    Standard: NTSC
    Working:

            --- No need to patch
Does the patcher just check the existence of SDE headers or does it also check to make sure the SDE headers are correct (Thus eliminating the need for "Fix12c.exe - MPEG2 SDE patch" completely)?

    --------

Also when run agains another .m2v svcd file I received the following error message towards the end of the operation:

    Code:
Arithmetic operation resulted in an overflow.
But the file it created seems complete and undamaged, should I worry about this?

Thanks for any input you can provide.

Syntax is as you have deduced. (how did you do that?)

First param is a MPEG2 Video Stream.

Currently it skips if there is SDE info (i.e doesn't enforce the correctness of the existing SDE)

"Arithmetic operation resulted in an overflow. " as this happens towards the end of the operation i suspect it is ok. However if anyone can send me the complete file where this happens I'll get to the bottom of it.

talynone, you can use restream to remove sde so sdepatcher will add one. only works on elementary vid files though. Also, adding the sdepatcher to complete vob doesn't make my dvdplayer very happy. Which rules out authoring with menus in dvdlab, and sdepatching after. (patching before gets cancelled out upon dvdlab authoring I believe.) CB, any light you could shed here would be cool.
