    Does anyone know of a player that will play several video files simultaneously, synchronized?

    The reason I could use a tool like this, is so I can watch the same video after applying different filters, or even encoding it differently, or whatever, so that I can see any differences.

    Not sure hwat you mean here, do you mean play files overlapped or in the same screen ?.
