VCR/Capturing question, help please?

I'm a total newbie so y'all be gentle okay?

Now what I would like to know is if I buy this VCR can I connect the ADVC-100 (which I already own, btw) up to it and then capture to my PC? Like does it have the correct connections and such?
And if I can't, what VCR would I need to get?

Sorry, you absolutely right. The drugs are wearing off. Your VCR has a SCART connector in the rear. Use this adapter to get AV out of it:

I have one of those... on each of the coloured wires it says video out, l audio out and r audio out. Do I need to get ones that say "in" instead of "out"? or will the one I have already work?

No, remember, the connector are giving exactly what they say: video and audio out of the source the SCART is connected to.

Every VHS I see in the United States has RCA type jacks for in and out video and audio, plus other connections like S-video sometimes. Normally on the back and some have audio video in on the front also.

Or is this just a high tech pro type model?
