  1. Hey so I bought a new toshiba satellite which supports usb 2.0 and then I got the Sony DU500 external dvd+/- burner which is also USB 2.0. I used dvdDyctpter to rip the dvd to my HD and then when I use it again to write the dvd I get an I/O error. The dvd isn't not encypted at all

Does anyone know what I should do? If you need any more info please let me know. Thanks

  2. Did you defrag the hard drive before trying to burn the DVD? Usually after ripping a DVD, I defrag the hard drive I ripped to, then reboot the computer, then burn the DVD. I use RecordNow Max, and if I fail to do any other those things before burning a copy, I get error messages.
