I cannot find any info on how to make motion (animated) chapters for the chapter points. They're just still pictures, but I want them to be motion chapters. Does anybody know how to make motion chapters with DVD Lab? Any help would be appreciated.

Get the newest beta of DVD-Lab(I think beta 2). It has RENDER MOTION MENU options. It won't encode the clip, but it will copy out a section to AVI, which you can then encode with TMPGENc Plus. Check this link out.

I haven't done this yet, but I think that the guide is pretty self explanatory. -
with older versions, you have to make a pre-composited mpeg file, with your background and all your chapter videos in one big mpeg file, and import that like you'd import a motion menu.
in one of the newer beta versions, there is support for creating motion menus directly, and there is a tutorual on their website.- housepig

Making motion thumbnail chapter points with the newest version (1.13 beta 1) works quite well, and is fairly easy...try this tutorial:

I have used it for the last couple of weeks (actually what made me buy the product) and never had a problem with it at all. You still even add background sound to your scene selection menus.
