    You create the video portion - the background and the graphics - in your video editor, then drop it onto the menu in DLP. DLP will automatically create a motion menu. I would create two cells in the menu so that when the menu was returned to it came back to a point after the graphic had appeared.

    Yep. Just output at DVD compliant mpeg (use one of the mainconcept templates). Don't forget to include motion menus in your bitrate budgets. You may have to use a lower bitrate for your menus than you would normally, just to leave more for your features.

    How to create the video ? - read the manual, specifically looking up Event Pan and Crop, keyframes, and Track Motion

    How to save for DVD ? - read the manual, specifically looking up Render, Mainconcept Mpeg-2 and Ac3

    Put the video on the timeline. Put the graphic on the timeline above it. Use Track Motion on the top timeline to move the graphic around.
