  2. You can burn the mpg to a data dvd and hope your player plays them but then change it does i slim.

What you need is a demo version of tmpgenc author, dvd lab or any other dvd author program. You can use your mpgs as input for those programs. These programs create audio_ts & video_ts directory for you which you can burn of with nero.

  3. Thx Yf,

now i have 2 files: one .mpa-file and one .avi-file. I've tried to burn the files with nero 6 on DVD+ RW. When i try to put the .avi-file into the Vido_TS i'll get the next error: The following files may not reside in the VIDEO_TS directory of a DVD-video compilation. And then followes a list of allowed filetypes such as .VOB and .BUP. What am i doing wrong?

  4. We back up a few steps..

I you got a .avi file then you need to reencoded it to dvd format with tmpgenc or a program like that. cause .avi isn't a mpeg-2 file. I suggest you go to the guides section and look for a guide converting divx/avi to mpeg-2/dvd

  5. Thx again,

Pinnacle PCTV puts the recorded image on HD in mpeg2 format. Is it then possible to burn the mpeg 2 image on HD directly to DVD? And if so, how?
Sorry to be such a nono on this matter. I hope you've got some patience with me.
