my brother made a dvd+rw with his dvd burner, but when i try to use it in my dvd-rom drive it says the disc is currupt or it is not a format windows recognizes. it also happens with dvd+rs. shouldnt i be able to read them with my dvd-rom drive? they work fine in my standalone dvd player and in my brothers dvd burner.

it doesnt matter what kind of burner burned it because i have tried dvd+rs burned by 2 different burners and since the dvd+rs play in my standalone dvd player, i know they work.
