  1. I'm looking for a very good dvd meida brand, that I can use to burn my movies with. I tried a 50 pack of those optic disc, but a lot of those disc were bad and messed up when I was bruning a movie . So, what's a good brand that will burn your movies at least 90% of the time, and where and I find them?

  4. I have a 4X TDK DVD RW and I tend to use TDK media. The one's I buy come with DVD cases (I like to make my own covers). I may be tempted to buy a bundle of 25 DVDs, but you tend to get 3-5 that don't work

Also remember that some media works well with some folks and not with others, so "good" media will be whatever works for you.

  6. Your best bet is to get branded media. Maxell, TDK, Apple, Fuji are some sure bets. Stay away from Verbatim(CMC discs), Khypermedia, Optimum, and Memorex. Those are all brand names that have a crappy reputation. There are no sure bets with buying bulk media off online sites. I've tried Ritek, Optodisc, Lead Data, and Princos. Princo seems to be the worst out of these manufactures. I used their dvd-R and -RW. They both have issues with pixilation and burning the full disc. Ritek seems to have the least problems, but I did get a bad batch before. Anything over the 3.8gig would pixilate or freeze. Lead Data's are hit or miss. I used over 70 and had maybe two coasters due to human error. Then my new batch of Lead Data's have issues with burning over 3.8 gigs. The Optodiscs weren't as compatible with dvd-roms and players as Ritek or Lead Data. They also seem to be hit or miss according to some of the comments on this site.
