  1. ok..here I go:
first off downloaded a SVCD, read on all the forums,etc..got IsoBuster and extracted MPeg..I did this because SVCD I down loaded had 2 MPEGs and I only wanted to burn one..

    Now the question..

I have 2 different burning programs to burn this to cd..EasyCD 5 Platnium and one that came with Sony CD Burner..B's Recorder Gold 5..So how do I burn this? As a DataCD, VideoCD, something else??

Don't have the money to purchase Nero and would prefer not to have to download, as I have read that trial/free version will not burn SVCD??

If wrong about this tell me.. OR if there is a way to separate the unwanted part of orininal bin/cue I could do this and then just burn bin/cue I think??But How do I do it??

Any Help would be great, I'm REALLY lost in all of this and all the reading is driving me CRAZY..

    Thanx in Advance!

Oh also..looks like I may need to overburn, so if got some help for this to, it would be greatly appreciated..Sorry so long winded

You have to burn iit as a Super-Video CD if any of your programs are capable of that. 80 minute CD-R's can hold 800 MB in video CD mode.

You can also try VCDEasy, it's in the Tools section and it's free (it was free anyway).

  3. Nope..can't seem to burn it in either one..even with updates.. one says file is too large for disk and can't seem to find an overburn option and other states that the EasyCD Creator (ver 5) can't read because will only see MPEG1 files and this one is MPEG2..

Can you overburn in the trial version of VCDEasy?

    Thanks AGAIN!

  4. Interesting problem.

Your extracted mpg2 is an asset file.

An SVCD must be authored before you can 'burn' it to a disc. Nero and VCDEasy/VCDImager basicly do this for you.

I find it interesting that you removed 1 movie, and the svcd is too large. The original image must have been too too large. How big is the mpeg file?

If you want to overburn, you could author to a new bin using VCDEasy (I'm guessin it does this, because the underlying tools do), and then mount the image with Daemon Tools, and finally do a disc to disc burn.
