    I 've read all around, I think I am getting all confused between ripping and burning w/ this / that software.....but can i get help w/ explicitly burning DVDs from home digital camcorder??

    SVCDs was way easier, I just dragged video into Nero and burn't VCD/SVCD...only problem, was they looked cruddy and weren't compatible, now I have aDVD burner and want to burn DVDs and not sure how. Totally different approach and file structure?
    Freeware solutions?
