Hi All,
I am trying to make a back-up of the movie "Basic". I'm using DVD Decrypter to rip the main movie in File Mode, but it's having a hard time removing the CSS copy protection.
Has anyone else run into this? Is there any other way to remove it?

If one ripper doesn't work on a particular movie, try another one. Smartripper is another good one.

You may also want to try a program called ANYDVD This way you can access the disk directly without ripping it to the hard drive. It decrypts the disc on the fly, in other words...as you are accessing the files

Smartripper did the trick, but man it was slow compared to DVD Decrypter. My DVD was running at 1.5X while ripping to my HD and took 30 minutes. Is that normal?
