AFTER BURNING A DVD+R I CAN SEE IT ON THE DVD BURNER & ALSO ON MY DVD PLAYER (TV). BUT IT DOES NOT PLAY BACK ON THE DVD READER ON THE PC. THE ORIGINAL DVD ARE OK. WHAT COULD BE THE PROBLEM. I THINK ITS SOMETHING TO DO WITH MY READER ???

Can you browse the dvd with the file explorer? Not all dvd-roms support dvd+r/w.

Agreed - I had to replace my Matsushita SR-8586 because of this problem. It was an otherwise excellent drive, but my DVD-R's were a total no-hoper.
I now use a Lite-on which rips at a phenominal speed and just loves DVD-R. Dirt cheap, too. £25 or thereabouts, IIRC. Read the one +R I fed it a little while back with no problems. -
This means that i can't copy on a fly a dvd+r to dvd+r.
What i don't want to do is an image on my hard drive.
cause it takes so long to make a copy of an already shrink dvd.
