Serveral users have had issues with the new ripping engine, VCDGear. I have forwarded some samples to the author of VCDGear, Dracore, and he has updated the application to address these issues.
The update is mentioned here
If there are more issues let me know & I will investigate the BINs and consult with Dracore.
My goal is to forge ahead with VCDGear and resolve issues as they arise rather than rollback. Why? Well, teething issues aside, VCDGear produces useable mpegs where as the old ripper didn't in some cases. It also can optionally fix mpegs as it rips. Also it is quicker.
That said there may be an argument to have the option of both rippers in the same way as the demuxers.....
