  1. Hey all,

I just made a short test project with dvd maestro and made an image..

I peeked into this image (with alcohol 120%) and it has an AUDIO_TS and VIDEO_TS folder. The audio_ts folder is empty and the Video_ts foler has a buch of stuff in it which i assume is the movie, and menus etc...

    I have 2 questions :

    1) should there be files in the AUDIO_TS folder?

    2) if i burn this image on a cdrw will it play in a standalone dvd player or does it have to be burned on a dvd +/- r/rw ?

    Thanks for your help!

  2. 1) No it shouldn't have anything in it.

    2) Not likely to play in a stand alone unless it is capable of playing minidvd

I used Video Studio 6 to burn a small DVD on a CD-R. The maximum is like 15 minutes, but it was DVD quality.

  4. The audio_ts folder should have nothing in it. If you burnt the image to a cd-rw it would be called a mini-DVD. Very, very, very (did i say very) few dvd players would play it. If you burnt the image to dvd-+r/rw, it would play in most players. The problem with burning it to a cd-rw is that the player recognizes that this is a cd and will try to play it under one of a few categories (audio cd, video cd, super video cd). You can read more about it at https://www.videohelp.com/minidvd.htm[/url]
