I have P4 1.7 GHz computer with 256 MB Ram with a belkin firewire card and a sony PC-115 digital
camera. I have very old VHS tapes (20 years old) and I would like to capture them and convert
into DVD so that can preserve them.
I would like to capture the VHS video via the camera and then via the firewire.
What will be the best video player for this purpose and is it better with S-video out for connection
to the camera ?
What will be the best capture software and the best MPEG2 encoder ? I am using ulead DVD workshop.
Is it the best in terms of quality ? I am very much concernd about quality ?
Does it worth converting to DVD for VHS tapes or SVCD is enough ?
