I am having issues with codecs. I recently had to reformat my computer and thought it would be easier to download a codec pack. When I play a movie, if I skip forward the video the audio goes. I then uninstalled the codec pack and dowloaded Xvid and Dvix seperaterly and still the problem occurs. What can I do?

there a lot of issues with codec packs I had a lot of problems with them, I had to format my hard drive couple of times but since than I only installed the codecs that I need. And I stay away from the codec packs. Use Gspot is a very usefull program it tells u what codecs you need to play the movie and also if you already have it on your computer or not.
