Hello. I have an Ibook Graphite SE 466 Mhz and i am looking to buy a good dvd -r burner. My hubby has a PowerBook 867 Mhz G4 and i've been using it with CompUsa DVD-R media with success. But i want one for me. Is there anything out there or should i upgrade to a newer Mac. ? Kinda down in the dump, now that i found out imovie3 doesn't play in my ibook and can't even use imovie2 to capture my homevideos.Anyway.......TIA

i highly recommend a newer Mac, however it can be done on your current setup.
We currently use a Formac Devidion and it works well, but you should have NO problems with ANY firewire DVD Writer.
Just make sure your iBook is maxed out on RAM.
hope this helps.
