  1. ok very specific problem with nero . i have all these anime.avi 24min 245mg i just want 3 episode per vcd please someone give me a direct answer as to what use to do this i've tried nero 5 and 6 for encoding and burning both give me very functy results . on nero 5 it has this bug where at some point the audio loses sync with the video . on six the sound won't work an less you uncompress the audio . but that makes it too large so i downsample the video then then converted to mpeg1 which burns ok (nero 5and 6 )but then the video speed is all crazy slow fast freeze back and forth etc. what i think would work is to make a vcd image . then burn it . if someone could show me how or point to a guide that be awesome

Nero is pretty bad as an mpeg encoder. I would recommend using TMPGEnc for your Avi to mpeg1 (VCD) conversion and then use Nero to burn only. Look in the Convert section for a guide.

Here's the basic steps I would do:
    1. Scan and remove any bad frames with Virtualdub.
    2. Extract the audio to wav format.
    3. Convert to VCD compliant mpeg using the Avi for video aource and the wav for audio source using TMPGEnc.
    4. Author and burn to VCD, I use VCDEasy but you can use Nero as well.
