I am a novice and am currently using dvdshrink 1.03 and dvd decrypter 3.1.6.0, Win xp(sp1) and Nero 5.5.10.7 as my method of writing. I have had some success backing up dvds by either just using dvdshrink or using dvd decyrpter(file mode) and then going to DVD Shrink however, quite often I run into these errors, most commonly the read only error on dvd shrink and cant seem to get around it(what does this mean). Usually I just burn the main portion of the dvd to save room for quality. Also what files in particular does the copy need to perform normally in these cases? Just the VTS_01's or also VIDEO_TS's, bup's, ifo's, vob's? Just one more question, what is the"%'s" error all about?![]()

OK. I've never had that error you mentioned but try this.
Rip all files with DVD Decrypter.
Download DVD Shrink 3 (not 2.3!)

Shrink it! It's up to you whether full dvd or reauthor mode.
If the problem still exist post your problem to DVDShrink ForumYou stop me again whilst I'm walking and I'll cut your fv<king Jacob's off.
