I am interested in copying 3 DVDs to one, each of which is about 1GB and preserving all of the original menus, sound and videos.
Is there a way to copy each to a DVD and create a custom menu with 3 buttons, and then "launch" the selected original DVD?

you could do this if you want. it's a lot more trouble than it's worth though. i tried this with my sister's pilates dvds which she got sick of switching between 3 dvds. i noticed they were all about 1.5 gigs or so so i decided to try out what you stated using DVD-Lab. It seemed to work in theory but the menu kept looping...maybe i just did something wrong.
but anyway, i think you're better off just extracting the vobs from the 3 dvds and just creating your own custom menu and getting rid of the original dvd menus. just my 2 cents, you or others will probably disagree. -
I thought about this, but I wanted to preserve the menu structure and the extras that come along with the movie.

It's preserving the menu structure that is a real pain.
Just my two cents worth, but I think I would re-do the menu's.Just what is this reality thing anyway?
