  1. I am interested in copying 3 DVDs to one, each of which is about 1GB and preserving all of the original menus, sound and videos.

Is there a way to copy each to a DVD and create a custom menu with 3 buttons, and then "launch" the selected original DVD?

you could do this if you want. it's a lot more trouble than it's worth though. i tried this with my sister's pilates dvds which she got sick of switching between 3 dvds. i noticed they were all about 1.5 gigs or so so i decided to try out what you stated using DVD-Lab. It seemed to work in theory but the menu kept looping...maybe i just did something wrong.

but anyway, i think you're better off just extracting the vobs from the 3 dvds and just creating your own custom menu and getting rid of the original dvd menus. just my 2 cents, you or others will probably disagree.

  3. I thought about this, but I wanted to preserve the menu structure and the extras that come along with the movie.

  4. The extra's should be no problem to preserve since they are most likely located in their own VOBs anyway.
It's preserving the menu structure that is a real pain.
Just my two cents worth, but I think I would re-do the menu's.
Just what is this reality thing anyway?

  5. Might want to look at DVDSHrink 3.0. It might have some features you could use.
