Well, take my hand, and I'll lead your through your dilemma. There are two main programs that do this: Smartripper and DVDecrypter. Either one will do what you want to do. I have used both, but I mainly use SR.

There. Dasoldier has been spoonfed his lunch. Hold still while I wipe your face.

    ouch !

Ya know, this stumps me. Simple buffoon that I am. But it just seems easier to read something under "DVD RIP", than to post a question, wait for a reply, etc. Not to single out Dasoldier. Many posters do this.

Maybe they crave the human touch of people like SLK001.

Use SmartRipper AND DVDDecrypter. I recently tried to rip a movie and kept getting an I/O error from DVDDecrypter. I got no errors when I used SmartRipper. I can imagine vise-versa can also happen.

The only hassle with SmartRipper is that I have to open the DVD using PowerDVD or another reader before I can use SmartRipper otherwise it will tell you that some files are locked. I don't have the same problem with DVDDecrypter.
