  1. It was a bin/cue image file that burns into a movie. It plays FANTASTIC on a standtop dvd player.

    however, they will not play on a computer. I've tried four differant computers, all with the same results. What the heck would cause this??

  2. you have a SVCD, NOT VCD

    so, you need to install powerDVD/winDVD...they both come with MPEG-2 codecs...

    however, even if you have the MPEG-2 codecs installed Windows Media Player will not play MPEG-2 files that have already been authored to SVCD. so, you will still need to use powerDVD/winDVD to play the SVCD.

    but, with MPEG-2 codecs installed, media player will play MPEG-2 files BEFORE they are authored onto SVCD.
