    Hi i am using dvd+rw to burn my video onto. I have noticed that few of my dvd would all of a sudden pause and these weird small square kind pixels would appear. What could be the reason is the disc damaged or scrached. Could it be bad media. I remember once this happened any i used a cd repair loation, and it worked, but the cd/dvd repair kits seem not to work any more. Plus i have noticd slight crack in the hub.

    I've had problems sometimes getting my Daewoo DVD-5800 to play rental DVDs that have scratches in them. Usually a cleanup with Windex fixes the problem - I call it the "Greek Treatment" - watch My Big Fat Greek Wedding if you wonder why I call it that...
