  1. i wanted to know if i can take a dvd and have two seperate audio tracks one with subtitles and one without

    what i'm trying to do is make an anime vcd w/ a dubbed verison and a subbed verison

    just wondering if its possible and if so how ??

    So you want...
    an anime videocd with two interchangeable audio tracks, one in english and one is a foreign language? That can be easy done in SVCD, but not in *Standard* VCD, it might be possible using XVCD. About the subtitles, I don't think you can turn on/off so interchangeably ala audio tracks. You going to have to choose one or the other, subtitles or no subtitles, and stick with.

  3. For VCD, you'd have to make one audio track left channel, and the other right. For SVCD, you could just rip the Video, extract audio1, extract audio2 then use bbMPEG to mux them everything together.

    As for subtitles that's a little different. In theory you can create a SVCD w/ selectable subtitles but you need I-author (program is near impossible to find) and your DVD player has to support it (most don't). So I would make permanent subtitles, and just leave with it during the english audio track.
