I am trying to use TMPGEnc DVD Author to create backups of Star Trek TNG DVDs. I'm using this because someone else posted he used this program for the same thing. The post is here: https://www.videohelp.com/forum/archive/t164634.html
When I start the output, it complains about the bitrate being too high. The program tells me the combined bitrate is 9992 kbps but can't be higher than 9848 kbps.
I don't see any way to change this. My only option is to ignore this and go on anyway or use a different program.
I'm seeking some guidance about this since this is all new too me. DVDs created with this too-high bitrate seem to play fine in my player. Should I just ignore this issue and use this bitrate, or should I use a different program? Is there a way to change the rate in this program?
Thanks,
Kirt
