I am trying to burn a DVD with episodes of Futurama from Divx and other formats to a playable DVD-R.
I've done everything according to the guides posted on this site, and when I play the DVD in my stand alone (old toshiba SD 2150) I get choppy digital junk (the colours show through, but it's broken up in large shifted chunks) and there's no audio. I encoded video from a full-res DV file on the same DVD (using high quality encoding) and it works fine. And when I play the DVD in my DVD-rw on the PC with PowerDVD 5, the futurama plays fine, just not in my standalone.
Any ideas as to what I did wrong?
Thanks in advance for your help.
I used the following settings:
Encoding:
TPMGenc 2.5
NTSC Low Resolution/CBR Mpeg-1 Layer II Audio (mp2)
Aspect ratio 1:1 (vga) non-interlace
Bitrate: 2093 kbs
Video arrange: Full Screen (keep aspect ratio)
Burning:
Nero 5.5.10.28
DVD-ROM (UDF/ISO)
ISO Level 2
UDF Physical Partition v1.02
Thanks,
Laurence
