Bush 5010 DVD Player region Question (what a suprise!!)

Is this DVD region hackable i.e. firmware or remote, and if so, how or where is this info.

I know some of the bush players are region free and was hoping this one can be too

Here's the latest on the Bush 5010 Standalone DVD player:

Before I start let me say this DVD player is my brothers, and he forgot to tell me that he hadn't tried a region 1,3,4,5,6 DVD in the drive, so I'm not sure whether the hack has worked or whether it's been region free all along. My fault for assuming he had tried a different region and come up against an error.

Please try a region 1,3,4,5,6 DVD first before you attempt this hack and report here if it works.

I tried the hack for the Bush 2000, which goe's as follows:
Open the tray
Place a region 1 DVD in the tray (do not close the tray)
Press 0,1,2,3 on the remote
Press play.
This make's it region free to the best of my knowledge. If only life was simple.
